Diana Alvarez-Bartolo, Ph.D.

I'm Diana, a postdoctoral fellow at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. I'm a quantitative psychologist who develops, compares, and applies causal inference methods to data in psychology and other social and behavioral sciences. My work aims to bridge the gap between advances in the causal inference literature and applied research by translating new methods for applied researchers and developing new methods well suited to the needs of these research areas. I also work on other advanced quantitative methods, including psychometrics and measurement. I earned my Ph.D. in Quantitative Research Methods in May 2025.
